since Oct. 1, 1995. One of the requirements is successful completion of a Pistol Class.

Indoor Shooting Range also offers a regular schedule of pistol permit classes. These classes are broken into two segments.
The first being on how to properly fill out your permit application. Again, here’s where experience is the key. You
do not want to make any mistakes on this, or anything related to your pistol or it’s permit. A mistake means the State
kicks it back to you, and you start over again. Why take the chance? The second part is all about safety, proper handling
procedures, shooting stances. Exactly what you need whether it is your first time with a firearm, or an experienced shooter
going for your permit."
